The main field of research are related to the characterization atmospheric dust, mainly in Antarctica, Greenland and Alpine areas, for long-term paleoclimatic influences of mineral phases on the atmosphere. Identification of the source areas of mineral dust and evolution of the solid charge in atmosphere in the last 800 ky. Participating at the main European ice core drilling projects for reconstruction of past climate changes, and the environmental changes on Antarctica, Greenland and European Alps area.
