
Renato R. Colucci
PhD in Environmental Sciences at the Department of Mathematics and Geosciences (DMG) of the University of Trieste - “Evidence of recent and holocenic evolution of the cryosphere in Friuli Venezia Giulia, northeastern italian Alps”
He works since 2000 in the permanent staff of the ISMAR (CNR), Department of Earth System Sciences and Environmentale Technology, dealing with meteomarine network and climatology. Main part of his research activity is devoted to the study of high-altitude glacial and periglacial environments both in the Alps (Stelvio, Dolomiti, Eastern Alps, Austria, Slovenia) and outside of Europe (Cordillera andina – Chile, Karakorum-Pakistan). Since 2011 he holds seminars and lectures on glacial and periglaciali topics at the University of Trieste and he's tutoring bachelor and MSc thesis.
